Yesterday, Madilyn and I traveled to see our favorite doc, Dr. Busch. If he only knew how much we talk about him in cyber world! Well, we did get some good news. NO MORE CASTS! Let me hear the angels sing! WOOHOO! I couldn't help but want to hug the doctor. He applauded my attention to her ulcer and that I had taken very good care of it. Then, I got a A+ for taking her to the ER and getting her cast removed on Friday.
So, we are going to continue to take care of her new ulcer at home. If it appears to not be healing we will go back. But, I was told to use my best judgment and follow my instincts. I just got all mushy inside and felt like I was a pretty good mom at the moment. So, after one surgery, 3 ER visits, one week stay in the hospital, 7 casts, including a festive Christmas cast, and 5 office visits later, we are finally free! Run, Madi, Run!

Supermom and nurse to the rescue!! It has paid off and hopefully she does run and have a blast doing it! Love the new background:)
